4-2006 No Waves in Hell, It H-Hurts The Instrumentals and Positively Negative are now available on Apples Itunes. 1-2006 Jon Moseley joins ANTI-M as the new official guitarist, Barbara Moseley (previously a guest on POSITIVELY NEGATIVE) joins the band on Vocals . 11-2005 Recording of the songs for the upcoming DAMAGE album begins. 9-2005 As you might have read in the latest ICE MAGAZINE for the tenth anniversary we released the REMASTERED version of Positively Negative . This cd featured new tray card art, new art on the disc as well as 2 previously unreleased instrumental versions of SECURITY and TELEVISION with Ronnie Montrose of course. The release datewas September 27 2005. The track listing order has changed but all of the songs are still there. We did make one musical change. The song ASSAULTED used to be separated and the guitar solo (PASS THE SALT) used to close the album. Now PASS THE SALT is included as part of ASSAULTED. LATE 2005 ANTI-M Available at CDBABY.com, Amazon.com and itunes. 5-05 Streaming .mov and .wmv files added to video download page. Footage being shot for the videos I BECAME A DEMON and NOTHING. Wedge upgrages his guitar with Seymour Duncan Pickups. 4-05 Web site updated and Music Videos posted to site. Work continues on Damage album. 7-04 Damage tracks being laid down. More music videos getting closer to completion. Videos will include YUPPIE MUSIC, I BECAME A DEOMON, NO WAVES IN HELL, NO WAVES IN HELL II, MELTING PENGUINS, TERMINAL EXISTENCE, THE LAST WAVE, BURN, SECURITY, DELUSIONS, NOTHING, POSITIVELY NEGATIVE and SALINE SOLUTION.
8-02 The long process of making the DAMAGE album continues. Artwork is finalized for the project. A dvd video release is considered. 11-00 Anti-m becomes available on Amazon.com. An MP3 page is added to the site including unreleased tracks. 10-00 Anti-m releases It Hurts 2000 the instrumentals. This includes the 4 tracks featuring Ronnie Montrose and has some new and extended tracks including the James Bondesque "00-0". 1999 Anti-m contributes edited version of nothing to "time capsule 2000" box set. 1998 Wedge Starts writing lyrics and putting together ideas for the next anti-m album. The album is to be titled DAMAGE. 1997 Anti-m Soundtracks the James Bond Spoof YOU ONLY DIE ONCE. Tracks later appear on It Hurts. 9-95 Positively Negative is released to good reviews. 8-95 Mark, Ruston and Wedge get together with Mark Casselman to mix Positively Negative as Wedge completes the artwork.
1995 Steve, having moved back to Oregon, comes in to do guitar work as well as contribute 4 songs, The Saline solution, Saltation, Assaulted and Pass the Salt. Wedge made sure all the names had something to do with Steves nickname Salty. Date unknown Wedge hears Barbara Moseley play guitar and sing at a friends house and asks her to Contribute. 1994 Ruston comletes the project Ruston and the Barefoot Melissa. Ruston and Wedge Begin on the demos for Positively Negative. Wedge sends demo tape to Ronnie Montrose who considers contributing to the project. Ronnie had been contacted for No Waves but schedule conflicts kept him from considering performing on the album. 12-93 Wedge completes 3 music videos for Anti-m as his final project at film school (Brooks Institute of Photography). The Videos are for the songs No Waves in Hell, No Waves in Hell 2 and Melting Penguins. Michael Wilcox makes a video for a remixed version of Burn. 1-93 Steve moves to Santa Barbara and plans are made to do some live shows and record the next album. The live shows never materialize but Steve records his first solo cd: Too Many Notes. 9-92 NO WAVES IN HELL is released. Sadly The Sensory Overload Chamber has to be shortened due to lack of hard drive space during mastering. The Full length version later appears on It Hurts 2000.
7-92 Wedge works on the artwork that will become the cover to NO WAVES IN HELL 1991 Wedge ran into Ruston Slager who he had known since elementary school. Ruston gave Wedge a copy of a cassette he had made titled IN A QUIET VALLEY. Wedge liked the song THE WATERFALL SONG so much he asked Ruston if they could redo the song and write some new material. Ruston heard some of the older songs and a two demos Wedge had (Gates of Hell and Melting Penguins) they decided on a concept album. Based on the songs Wedge and Mark had written it was to be a funny story about a surfer who goes to hell. Many of the ideas came about while Wedge and Ruston were surfing at Rincon. 1990 Wedge creates demos for Gate of Hell and Melting Penquins which are later featured on NO WAVES IN HELL. 1988 Mark, Wedge and Steve record SILICON ROSE which is featured in short form on the album POSITIVLEY NEGATIVE, The full length version is featured on IT HURTS 2000. Wedge starts playing guitar and Mark starts playing bass at this point. 1987 Wedge meets Guitarist Steve (Salty) Weber while attending the University of Oregon. 1986 John (Wedge) Wardlaw and Mark Rumer form Anti-m and record the songs IT'S FULL OF STARS, INSIPID, I BECAME A DEMON, JAZZ and THE SENSORY OVERLOAD CHAMBER. |
