RUSTON SLAGER : VOCALS / KEYBOARDS / BASS
HIS BOWIE / PETER MURPHY STYLE VOCALS ADDED A DISTINCT QUALITY TO ANTI-M.
Ruston has played wind instruments, piano and keyboards. He joined Mark Rumer and John Wardlaw to produce the first Anti-M album NO WAVES IN HELL. Ruston had more of a folk and jazz background but, like Wedge, loved progressive music (Yes, Genesis, The Who) and 80's Techno Pop. The two set out two work on each others songs and the concept of NO WAVES IN HELL emerged.
Ruston has recorded three solo projects outside Anti-M. IN A QUIET VALLEY, HEARTSING and REMNANTS OF PARADISE a piano and vocal album. Ruston has also contributed to many other projects. It was Ruston's first solo project, IN A QUIET VALLEY, that inspired Wedge to ask him to join Anti-M
